Skills & Experience Desired:

Required:

• Combination hands-on software developer with successful team leadership experience: You must be able to lead by example, guiding and inspiring the development team while actively contributing to the codebase.
• Python hands-on development (4+ years): Proficiency in object-oriented development, including creating classes from scratch.
• Streamlit UI development (1+ years): Experience in developing interactive and user-friendly UIs with Streamlit.
• Python web application development (4+ years): Expertise in frameworks like Django and Flask.
• PostgreSQL database schema design: Fluent in SQL, DDL, and querying, with experience in developing Python applications that interface with PostgreSQL using Psycopg (3+ years).
• Experience in architecting new systems from the ground up: Ability to design and implement robust, scalable systems.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) using pytest: Strong advocate for TDD, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
• Code Refactoring skills: Ability to improve and optimize existing codebases.
• Strong understanding and implementation of security: Knowledge in authentication, authorization, and data encryption to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems.

Nice to Have:

• LangChain framework use via Python (1+ years): Familiarity with leveraging LangChain for advanced AI functionalities.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
