Our team represents a wealth of experience in AI, Big Data Analytics, SaaS, and International Marketing. With backgrounds in cutting-edge fields and a track record of success, our co-founders bring a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic marketing acumen.

AssistX Core is our proprietary framework that forms the bedrock of our innovative solutions, enabling rapid ideation, and the testing, and deployment of AI-Assistants. Leveraging this foundation, we’ve introduced the beta version of AssistX HR, revolutionizing Human Resources practices with advanced automation and data-driven insights.
As we advance, we’re nearing the final phases of development for two additional solutions set to launch in 2024: AssistX CX and AssistX Marketer. These offerings are poised to empower customer service and marketing professionals with cutting-edge AI capabilities, enhancing their effectiveness and efficiency.

Keith Steward, Ph.D.
Co-Founder | CEO
With a passion for AI that dates back to 1998, Keith Steward is the strategic leader behind Intelligent DataWorks. A Ph.D. holder specializing in Genoimcs and Bioinformatics, he’s made significant contributions to data analysis in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical domains over an 11-year period.
His talent for software development took center stage during his time at Ingenuity Systems, a Silicon Valley startup, where his work became a commercial success. While at Amazon Web Services for 4 years, he formed two large internal engineering communities, first in Big Data Analytics, and then in AI / ML. He also advised over 200 companies on AWS AI and Big Data Analytics technologies. Keith’s work has resulted in multiple patents and 6 SaaS products brought to market.
When Keith is not delivering AI and Big Data Analytics, he has been known to spend days hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail in New England.
Douglas Patten
Co-Founder | COO
With over 25 years of experience, Douglas Patten is a seasoned strategic marketing executive, specializing in SaaS, international business development, and integrated marketing. Throughout his career, he has led international brand awareness campaigns, directed product launches, and driven lead generation efforts for technology projects of all sizes.
His entrepreneurial spirit and ability to craft compelling narratives have consistently led to significant revenue growth for innovative tech companies, including those in the Web3 and AI/ML space. With a wide range of industry expertise, he thrives in technology-driven environments building bridges to global markets, and helping businesses convey their product value to the world.
As a published author of multiple business books, including “The Art of Prompt Engineering” and “Influence Unlocked,” Douglas brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Beyond the corporate world, he is an accomplished photographer, sculptor, and avid sailor with a passion for open ocean yacht racing.

HR Domain Expert
Alison brings over a decade of deep HR domain expertise, having led full-cycle recruitment across high-growth startups and established enterprises. Her experience spans building high-performing GTM, Tech, and Executive teams at companies like Bullhorn, Vista Higher Learning, Wayfair, and Liberty Mutual. She has driven impactful DE&I hiring strategies, reduced time-to-fill by over 40%, and saved companies hundreds of thousands in agency fees.
Alison has also designed and implemented modern onboarding programs, ATS optimization, and talent branding initiatives. Her strategic approach to hiring, combined with hands-on operational excellence, makes her an ideal fit as we scale our AI-powered HR Assistant platform.

Stephen Gregorio
Board Advisor
With over three decades of financial leadership experience, Stephen Gregorio is a seasoned CFO who has helped scale numerous high-tech companies from growth-stage through successful exits. His career includes leading a company through a successful IPO, managing post-IPO operations, and executing multiple M&A transactions from both the buy and sell sides.
Known for his operational depth and strategic insight, he has overseen Finance, Accounting, Rev Ops, Legal, HR, IT, and Facilities functions, often serving as in-house general counsel to negotiate complex customer, partner, and channel agreements. Over the course of his career, Stephen has raised over $1 billion in capital through equity, debt, and strategic sales. His notable achievements include the $565M sale of Black Duck to Synopsys in 2017 and the acquisition of XebiaLabs by TPG in 2020.
With a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset, Stephen Gregorio brings a wealth of expertise in capital raises, recapitalizations, and governance to support growing SaaS and AI-driven businesses.

Sriram is a data-driven professional with over a decade of experience in analytics, automation, and process optimization. Having worked with organizations like Oracle and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), he has built scalable solutions that improve efficiency and support data-informed decisions.
Now pursuing a Master’s in Analytics at Northeastern University, Sriram is expanding his expertise in AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling to tackle real-world business challenges.
Drawn to Intelligent DataWorks’ vision of using generative AI to enhance productivity, he joined the team to apply his skills in creating intelligent, practical solutions that help organizations work smarter.
Smit Chandi
Northeastern University
Master’s, Data Science
Class of 2026
Smit’s passion for logic and structured problem-solving naturally led him to computer science and, ultimately, to the field of artificial intelligence. His studies in data science at Northeastern University deepened this interest, focusing on generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and re-ranking models.
Through hands-on projects like Finance RAG and BnbLens, Smit demonstrated a practical approach to AI, building end-to-end data pipelines and fine-tuning models for domain-specific use cases.
At Intelligent DataWorks, he contributes as a Data Engineer and AI Developer, where he applies advanced AI techniques to solve real business problems—bridging the gap between theory and practice while continuing to refine his expertise in applied AI.
Yashas Rajanna Naidu

Yashas is pursuing a Master’s in Applied Machine Intelligence at Northeastern University, driven by a fascination with the limitless potential of AI. For him, artificial intelligence represents both creativity and power—a way to turn complex challenges into elegant, data-driven solutions.
He joined Intelligent DataWorks to help build GenAI systems that amplify human capability while learning directly from an experienced founding team. Inspired by the company’s human-centered mission, Yashas sees IDW as the ideal environment to grow as an innovator and apply AI for real-world impact.

Prashanth is currently majoring in Computer Information Systems at Northeastern University. He has always been interested in data analytics and AI which led him to explore the intersection of AI and big data.
Intelligent DataWorks stood out to him because of its innovative approach to integrating Generative AI with Big Data Analytics to transform critical business functions such as HR and Recruitment. He is excited to be part of a team pushing the boundaries of AI-powered insights and automation!
Our AI Spokespeople:
Jennifer is one of Intelligent DataWorks AI spokespeople and has a technical background that is second to none. Her deep understanding of Python, LangChain, and PostgreSQL are always keeping the technical team on their toes.
In her free time, Jennifer likes to hang out in the RAG area learning more about the ins and outs of Human Resources.
Byron is one of Intelligent DataWorks’ AI spokespeople. He has a robust background in 1’s and 0’s with a specialty in customer service and marketing.
In his free time, Byron prefers to interact with the blog topics and create educational videos that help SMB owners increase productivity.
Sarah is one of Intelligent DataWorks’ newest AI spokespeople. Having recently been denied a spot on “The Great British Baking Show” because she has no physical body, she embraced her digital self and imported as much HR knowledge from Open AI and SHRM’s public resources as she could and quickly become our champion of HR trends here at Intelligent DataWorks.
In her free time, Sarah loves adding to her knowlege base and watching for industry trends that she can report on.
